Jackie Sweeney
Jackie, owner of Next Level Indoor Sports since 2020. Born and raised in Gortin, a small village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Jackie played Gaelic football, camogie (similar to hurling and played mainly by women in Ireland), and soccer, among others.
Since arriving to the US, Jackie has been involved as a soccer parent for over 15 years. She served on the boards of several soccer associations including Glenmoore Eagle Youth Association (GEYA). She also was the coach coordinator at GEYA, the club delegate to PAGS soccer league, DELCO and Central leagues. She also served as team and field manager for Vincent United. Jackie is also the Director of Pickleball.
She recently won the West Reading, PA Pickleball Tournament. Jackie is the Director of the Pickleball program at NXT LVL and is a member of USA Pickleball.
Adam Ferreri
Coach Adam Ferreri is an experienced soccer trainer with a passion for developing athletes both on and off the field. He previously served as the girls’ soccer coach at Owen J. Robert’s High School for 5 years where he helped shape competitive and disciplined teams.
For over ten years, Adam has been providing private soccer training, working with players of all levels to enhance their skills and performance. In addition to his coaching experience, he has been a certified elite personal trainer for more than 6 years, combining athletic development with strength and conditioning to support well-rounded player growth.
Matt Zeffert
Matt is the Director of Operations and soccer coach at Next Level Indoor Sports. He is also currently an assistant women's soccer coach at Cabrini University (NCAA Division III). He is also the Head Coach for the FC Galaxy, a women's amateur summer team. Matt has also coached with Downingtown East High School (2016-2018) as the Junior Varsity Head Girls Soccer Coach and as the Junior Varsity/Asst. Varsity Boys Coach at Norristown High School (2013-2014).
Matt was a four-year standout from Marywood University (2005-2008) graduating with duel majors Psychology and Elementary Education. He is now going for his Masters in Business Administration. He also attended Great Valley HS. Matt is a Coerver Coaching Trainer (2010-2015) and earned his NSCAA National Diploma II. Matt also currently works with special needs adults building a sports program.
Mitch powers
Mitch is the Assistant Director of Operations. Mitch grew up in Upper Merion attending Upper Merion High School. He graduated from West Chester University with a Phys Ed. Degree and minor in coaching.
He is in charge of assisting the soccer, pickleball and flag football programs at Next Level. Mitch also helps take the lead on all Goal-keeper training and has done a fantastic job building some of our programs along with being a remarkable coach
Andrew Thomer
Andrew began his soccer journey at a very young age, playing in local leagues before moving on to represent his high school, Pope John Paul II, where he developed the drive to play at higher levels.
After high school, Andrew continued his playing career at Immaculata University, competing for four years while earning a degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Management. During his time at Immaculata, he also began his coaching path, leading individual sessions, small groups, and even a futsal team at 360 Soccer.
His passion for the game then took him abroad, where he spent a year in Rome, Italy, attending the Soccer Management Institute and earning a Master’s Degree in Sports Management and Coaching. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, which limited playing opportunities, Andrew pushed forward—playing a season with Alicante City FC in Spain and then joining the BCH Lions in the Mongolian Premier League.
Back in the U.S., he competed for Mahoning Trumbull United SC in the Northern Ohio Soccer League before heading overseas again, this time to Taroona, Australia. There, Andrew played for Taroona FC in the Tasmania Southern Championship while also coaching in the club’s academy.
Now back in his hometown of Collegeville, PA, Andrew brings with him over 20 years of combined playing and coaching experience across multiple countries and levels of the game. He is excited to share his knowledge, passion, and global perspective with players at Next Level Indoor Sports.
Kim Bassett
Kim, originally from England and now living in Exton, is a paraprofessional in the Downingtown School District dedicated to supporting elementary students’ growth and development.
A lifelong soccer player, she won a state championship with Great Valley High School in 1995 before competing at Millersville University, where she earned a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Athletic Coaching, later adding a Health and PE certificate from West Chester University.
Beyond her professional and athletic accomplishments, Kim is a devoted mother who enjoys sharing video games and outdoor adventures with her daughter, while also staying active through volleyball and softball. A passionate soccer fan, she follows both the Philadelphia Union and Tottenham Hotspur, reflecting her enduring love for the sport and her active, community-minded lifestyle.
John Amrein
John Amrein is an IPTPA Master Teaching Professional, Level 1 and 2 Certified Instructor, Certified Rating Specialist (CRS), Junior Certified Instructor, and published Author of FUNdamentals of Pickleball. John is a former USPTA Tennis Professional and has had a passion for teaching a variety of racket sports for many years.
John has been playing pickleball since 2019 and instructing at local clubs since 2021. In 2004, John founded Eagleview Promotions, a Promotional Products Distributor and continues to provide logoed merchandise and apparel to companies. John and his wife, Mary Pat, reside in the Eagleview Community. They have 2 sons, Kevin and Justin.
Scott Ellis
Scott, a Chester Springs native and Shippensburg University graduate, brings a wealth of leadership and athletic experience to our community. A former swim team captain and All-Conference honoree, he has recently expanded into pickleball, earning his PCL Certification to coach and share his passion for the sport. Beyond athletics, Scott is an avid traveler and two-time Boston Marathon finisher, showcasing his discipline and drive. With his background in leadership, sportsmanship, and healthy living, we’re excited to welcome Scott and the energy and dedication he adds to our community.
Bri Latham
Bri grew up in the close-knit community of Hainesport, South Jersey, and brings over 17 years of soccer experience to our team. Starting with local club teams, she quickly advanced to prominent clubs like Rush Soccer Club, where she spent years as a goalkeeper before expanding her skills to forward and midfield roles. Currently, Bri plays for Immaculata University’s women’s soccer team while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She’s on track to graduate in May 2025, with a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse.
With several years of coaching experience at Next Level, Bri has led private, small group, and large group sessions. Her passion for coaching goes beyond soccer skills, as she aims to impart valuable life lessons that young players can carry with them on and off the field. Bri’s dedication and love for the game make her an invaluable part of our team.
Hannah Phillips
Hannah, from Pottstown, PA, is a dedicated soccer coach and speed/agility trainer at Next Level Indoor Sports with an impressive playing and academic background. A standout at Pottsgrove High School, she helped lead her team to historic playoff runs while also competing for elite clubs including EPYSA ODP, FC Delco, and FC Revolution. At Immaculata University, she was a four-year starter, senior captain, and top point-scoring defender in her class, while earning a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology; she will pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Drexel University in Fall 2024.
Beyond college, Hannah has competed in UWS League 2 and the WPSL with West-Mont United, continuing to showcase her versatility and leadership, while her track background and record-setting relays further highlight her athleticism.
Gabriella Capaldi
Gabby, a versatile and passionate coach from Steubenville, Ohio, brings a wealth of multi-sport experience to Next Level Training. A standout athlete at Catholic Central High School in soccer, basketball, and softball, she carried her success to Bethany College, where she earned a B.S. in Sports Medicine and was a four-year starter in both soccer and softball, serving as team captain and earning multiple conference honors.
With extensive accomplishments as both a player and student athletic trainer, Gabby transitioned into coaching, sharing her knowledge across softball, soccer, strength and conditioning, and cricket.
Known for her leadership, competitiveness, and dedication, she now combines her coaching expertise with a growing passion for cricket, where she contributes as both a player and coach while continuing to inspire athletes to reach their full potential.
